The Will of Daniel Nicholls

 

I Daniel Nicholls of Dawley in the County of Salop do make this my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say) I give and bequeath all my personal Estate whatsoever and of what nature or kind soever and every thing that I have power to dispose of unto my Sister Elizabeth Onions and my nephew Samuel Nicholls to hold the same and every part thereof unto the said Elizabeth Onions and Samuel Nicholls their heirs executors and administrators upon trust to sell and convert the same into money and to pay thereout as shall be necessary for the payment of my just debts & funeral expences and to pay and apply the remainder thereof (after deducting their charges and expences for so doing) unto and between my three children Daniel Benjamin and Margaret and also the children of my late Son George (that is to say) to divide the same into four equal parts and to pay Daniel one fourth part Benjamin one fourth part Margaret one fourth part and to pay the remaining fourth part unto the children of my late Son George equally share and share alike and I do nominate and appoint my said Sister Elizabeth Onions and my sd nephew Samuel Nicholls Executrix and Executor of this my last Will and Testament and hereby revoke and make void all and every former and other Will and Wills by me heretofore made In Witness I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twelfth day of ffebruary one thousand eight hundred and thirteen Danl Nicholls

I give and bequeath unto my Sister Elizabeth Onions the sum of thirty pounds for the trouble and expense I have put her to in my illness and I also give and bequeath unto Sarah Rhodes Granddaughter of my said Sister Elizabeth Onions the sum of five pounds for the trouble I have given her in my illness and I do hereby ratify and confirm Will in other respects (that is to say)to divide the remainder of my property after deducting my just debts funeral expences and all other expences attending the carrying my Will into effect in the manner mentioned in my said Will As witness my hand this eighth day of June 1813 Daniell Nicholls _ Witness _ Moses Bray _ Jas Bray
