BE IT KNOWN, that at the date hereunder
written, the last Will and Testament of John Newton late
of No. 1 Clarence Villas Parchmore Road New Thornton Heath in
the County of Surrey Gentleman deceased, who died on the 20th
of September 1886 at No 1 Clarence Villas aforesaid was proved
and registered in the Principal Registry of the Probate Division
of Her Majesty’s High Court of Justice, and that Administration
of the personal estate of the said deceased was granted by the
aforesaid Court to Henry Newton of No. 64 Guilford Street
Russell Square in the County of Middlesex Salesman and
Frederick Newton of No. 64 Guildford Street aforesaid
Jewellers Assistant the sons two of the Executors named in the
said Will they having been first sworn well and faithfully to
administer the same Power reserved of making the like Grants to
Ann Newton Widow the Relict of the said Deceased the
other Executor named in the said Will

This is the last Will and Testament of me
John Newton of No. 1 Clarence Villas Parchmore Road near
Thornton Heath in the County of Surrey Gentleman I direct that
all my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses be paid
and satisfied by my Executors hereinafter named as soon as
conveniently may be after my decease I give and devise and
bequeath unto my Executors ten pounds each and as to all the
rest residue and remainder of my estate and effects whatsoever
and wheresoever both real and personal whether in possession
reversion remainder or expectancy I give devise and bequeath the
same unto my sons Henry Newton and Frederick Newton
and their executors and administrators Upon trust to permit and
suffer my dear wife to have the use and enjoyment of all such
parts thereof as shall not yield income and the income of such
of my estate as shall not have been applied in payment of my
debts and funeral testamentary expenses and legacies to remain
as invested at the time of my decease or at the absolute
discretion of my said Executors and to pay the dividends and
produce thereof and also the dividends interest or annual
produce of all such other parts of my estate as shall yield
income unto my dear wife during the term of her natural
life and from and after her decease I give devise and bequeath
the same and every part thereof unto and among and to be equally
divided between all and every my children both sons and
daughter who shall be living at the time of the decease of
my said Wife and the issue of such of them as shall be dead
(such issue nevertheless taking only the share which their
deceased parent would have been entitled to in the event of such
parent surviving my said wife) to and for their own use and
benefit absolutely and I nominate constitute and appoint Ann
Newton my dear wife and Henry Newton and Frederick
Newton my two sons to be my Executrix and Executors of this
my Will and hereby revoking all former or other Wills and
Testaments by me at any time heretofore made I declare this to
be my last Will and Testament In witness whereof I the said
John Newton have to this my last Will and Testament set my
hand the twenty fifth day of April in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and eighty five 25 April 1885 John

in the presence of us who in his presence and at his request and
in the presence of each other have subscribed our hands as
