vndecimo 1635 did giue vnto the poore people of Carlton the sum of xxs

to be paid [yearly forever …….] fourth of certeine lands [? Lying] and being in Carlton aforesaid in these words following vizt

I do giue and bequeath to the poore of Carlton within the parish of Hustw[aite]

20 shillinges to be given and distr[ibuted] at or before the feast of the nativity [of our Savious] Christ Jesus when it shall [? Happen] after my deathe. So that the s……

to be payed euery year vnto the poor [of the] sd… Carlton at the aforesaid time &

[? soe to re]main forever to be distributed at the discretion of the Minister & churchwardens [& overseers] of Carlton.
