In the Name of God Amen I George Needham of
the Parish of St Mary at Hill in the City of London Barber and
Peruke maker being of sound Mind and Memory Do make this my last
Will and Testament in manner and fform following ffirst I commend my
Soul to God hoping for Pardon of my Sins through his Mercy and the
Intercession of my Saviour My Body I Commit to the Earth to be
decently buryed at the Discretion of my Executrix hereafter named
And as to my Estate and Effects which I shall be possessed of at the
time of my Decease I give and bequeath in fform and manner following
that is to say I give and bequeath unto my Son James Needham twenty
pounds and all my Wearing Apparel And at the Decease of my present
Wife Elizabeth Needham my Estate in Staffordshire Item I give and
bequeath all the rest and residue of my Estate whatsoever and
wheresoever to my Beloved Wife Elizabeth Needham aforementioned to
and for her own use Except my Estate in Staffordshire which as
aforesaid is to be Enjoyed by my Son James Needham making my said
Wife Elizabeth Needham my whole and sole Executrix Lastly I do
hereby revoke and make void all former and other Will and Wills by
me heretofore at any time made declaring this only to be my last
Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said George Needham have
to this my Will contained in this single Sheet of Paper set my hand
and seale this twenty first day of October in the year of our Lord
One thousand Seven hundred fforty Six And in the twentieth year of
the Reign of our sovereign Lord George the Second King of Great
Britain and so forth Geo: Needham
