The last Will and Testament of me Esther
Napper of Sherborne in the County of Dorset Spinster Imprimis it is
my desire to be buried in the Chancel of Sherborne Church with my
dear father and mother my body to be carried by six poor men who are
to receive half a crown each the Vicar and Curate ten shillings and
six pence each but no hat band or gloves the Clerk and two sextons
half a crown each I give and bequeath unto my niece Mrs Rebecca
Pulteney widow of the late Charles Speke Pulteney the sum of thirty
pounds Also I give and bequeath unto my nephew Thomas Napper son of
the late Charles Coker Napper Dyer and Printer in London the sum of
ten pounds Also I give and bequeath unto George Gent son of Samuel
Gent and Mary his Wife the sum of ten pounds as soon as he shall
attain the age of twenty one years All the residue and remainder of
my effects and wearing apparel I give and bequeath unto my niece
Rebecca Pulteney daughter of the above mentioned Charles Speke
Pulteney and Mrs Rebecca Pulteney lastly I constitute and appoint
James Cruttwell Gentleman of Sherborne in the County of Dorset to be
my sole Executor in trust for my said niece Rebecca Pulteney
daughter of the aforesaid Charles Speke Pulteney and Rebecca
Pulteney and I do also direct that the aforesaid legacies shall not
be paid until at the end of one year after my decease In witness
whereunto I have put my hand and seal this twenty second day of July
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seven
