In the name of God, Amen, I William Myles Cl[e]r[k]e Mr of Artes beinge infirm in body, but of good and perfecte memory (and mind praise bee to Allmighty God) Do make, constitute and ordayne this my last Will and Testament (in writinge) in manner and forme followinge. Imprimis I give and bequeathe my soule into the handes of the Allmighty God, my maker, redeemer and Sanctifier, in whome and through whose merittes (onely) I hope to be saved, and my Body to be buried in Christian Buriall . Item I give and bequeath toward the fabricke of the Cathedrall Church of St Davids x iis [12/-]. Item I give and bequeath to the poore of Melyney parishe xs [10/-]. Item I give and bequeath to the poore of the parishe of Brydell xs [10/-]. Item I give and bequeath toward the reparation of the parish Church of Eglosserowe – iis [2/-] Item I give and bequeath to William Myles my Eldest sonne xs [10/-] to be paied him at the feast of St Andrewes tyde next after my Decease. Item I give and be-queath to Henry Myles Cl[e]r[k]e my second sonne xs [10/-]. Item I give and bequeath to Margaret Myles my Doughter xs [10/-]. Item I give and bequeath to CatherinMyles my Doughter xs [10/-]. Item I give and bequeath to Luce Myles my Doughter xs [10/-]. Item I give and be-queath to Maud Myles my Doughter xs [10/-]. Item I give and bequeath to Nathaniell Myles My sonne one payre of oxen, two payre of steeres of three yeare old, two kine and all my sheepe in the custody and keeping of Evan Richard together with all my sheepe in the custody and keeping of Ph[illip]e Griffith of Brydell, all which are to be Delivered to the said Nathaniell Myles at the feast of St Michaell the Archangell next after my decease. Item I give and bequeath to Elizabeth Myles my Doughter, one yoake of oxen, three kine, two heyffers of two yeareold, and one steere of three yeare old, all which are in the keepeing and custody of John Picton. Item I give and bequeath unto the said Elizabeth one Hayffer which is in keeping w[i]th William Bowen gent. Item I give and bequeath unto my said Doughter Elizabeth Myles all my sheepe and lambes which are in the custody and keeping of John Picton, together with all the sheepe and lambes which I am owner of and are in the keeping and custody of Nathaniell Myles of Helygnant.

Item I give and bequeath unto my said Doughter Elizabeth Myles one brazen panne contayninge seven Gallones or thereabouts, one brazen potte contayninge five Gallones or thereabouts, one Chest and six pewter Dishes. Item I give and bequeath to Henry Myles my Grand-childe twelve lambes to be Delivered him at Whitesontyde next after my Decease. Item I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth James my Grandchilde twelve lambes to be Delivered her at Whitesontyde next after
my Decease. Item all the rest of my GoodesCattles & Chattells aswell moveable and unmoveable heretofore not given nor be-queathed, I give and bequeath unto my beloved weife Jane Myles and my Deere Doughter Christly Myles whome I Doe nominate constitute, ordayne and appoynt to be Coexecutrices of this my last will and testament to pay my Debtes and Legacies and to Levye my Demaundes.In wittenes whereof I have hereunto put my hand & seale Da[te and] Daie and yeare abovewritten Wm Myles
