I Thomas Mugless in the County of York
Plummer and Glazier do make publish and declare this my last
Will and Testament as follows I give devise and bequeath unto my
dear Wife Ann and to her heirs executors and Administrators one
full and equal undivided moiety or half part of all my Messuages
Lands Tenements Hereditaments and Real Estate whatsoever Also
one moiety or half part of all my monies debts and other Effects
and the whole of my household Goods and furniture plate and
linen She my said Wife paying out of the aforesaid real and
Personal Estate the Sum of two hundred pounds to Hannah Brown my
Niece at her age of thirty years I give devise and bequeath to
my Brother in law Robert Brown and to his heirs executors and
Administrators one undivided fourth part of my said real and
Personal Estates (exclusive of the before mentioned household
Goods and furniture given to my said Wife) I give devise and
bequeath the remaining fourth part of my said real and personal
Estate (except as aforesaid) unto and equally between my two
Sisters Sarah the Wife of Robert Thompson and Mary Mugless and
their respective heirs executors and Admors to take as tenants
in common and not as joint tenants provided always and it is my
Will notwithstanding the above devises and bequests my said Wife
shall have and be intitled to the whole Rents interest and
proceeds of my real and Personal Estates for two years next
after my decease to and for her own sole and absolute use free
from the controul or intermeddling of any person whatsoever And
lastly I make my said Wife full and sole Executrix of this my
Will In Witness whereof
I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this
twenty eight day of August one thousand seven hundred and eighty
