I Emma Milton of No 1. Grosvenor Villas, Beresford
Rd. Kingston on Thames in the County of Surrey, Widow, do hereby revoke
all former Wills and Testamentary dispositions made by me and declare
this to be my last Will and Testament.
I appoint my son Eli Milton of Romford in the County of Essex to be the
Sole Trustee and Executive of this my Will.
I give devise and bequeath all my freehold houses at Portland, Spring
Grove Kingston on Thames and elsewhere, plate, linen, glass, books,
pictures, furniture and other household effects also monies in the
National Building Society and monies in the Post Office Savings Bank to
the said Eli Milton upon trust that the said Eli Milton shall call in
and convert into money the same as such part thereof as shall not
consist of money and shall and will out of the monies produced by such
calling in and conversion and with and out of my ready money pay my
funeral and Testament, my expenses and debts.
Then I declare my Will to be that the balance after paying such sums as
aforesaid shall be divided into four equal parts and that one part shall
be retained by the said Eli Milton, another part shall be paid to my son
John Milton, a third part shall be apid to my daughter Rosina Presland,
the wife of Arthur Presland, but should she die during my life time I
direct that her share shall be divided equally between her two children,
Arthur Henry and Louisa and the remaining fourth part to Jessie Milton
the daughter of my deceased son Walter Milton but I direct that she, the
said Jessie Milton shall divide equally between herself and her several
brothers such forth share as bequeathed to her. And it is my Will that
in the event of the said Eli Milton dying during my lifetime I nominate
and appoint my daughhter Rosina Presland to be my Sole Trustee and
Executor in the place and stead of the said Eli Milton.
In Witness whereof I have set my hand to this my will the 4th July 1898.
Signed by the above named Emma Milton as her last Will and Testament in
the presence of us both being present at the same time and in the
presence of each other have here unto subscribed our homes as witness.
