The Will of Lydia Mills
In the
Name of God Amen I Lydia Mills
of the Stowage in the Parish of
Saint Nicholas Deptford in the
County of Kent Widow being of
sound & disposing Mind Memory &
considering the uncertainties of
this transitory Life do for
avoiding Controversies after my
Decease make publish & declare
this my last Will & Testament in
manner as following that is to
say ffirst I recommend my Soul
to God that gave it & my Body I
commit to the Earth to be buried
in a decent Christian Burial at
the Discretion of my Executors
hereafter named & as for and
concerning all my Worldly Estate
I give bequeath & dispose
thereof as followeth that is to
say all & singular such Sum or
Sums of Money Lands Tenements
Goods Chattels & Estate
whatsoever as shall be any ways
due owing or belonging unto me
at the time of my decease I do
give devise & bequeath the same
unto my beloved Sons John Robert
Mills ffylan Walter Mills Esmond
Mills Shipwrights in the
Parishes of St Pauls & St
Nicholas Deptford & Woolwich in
the County of Kent & to be their
sole Property equal Share &
share alike And I do hereby
nominate and appoint Mr John
Robert Mills Shipwright of the
Parish of St Pauls Deptford & Mr
ffylan Walton Mills of St
Nicholas Deptford in the County
of Kent to be joint Exors of
this my last Will & Testament
hereby revoking all former &
other Wills Testaments & Deeds
of Gifts by me at any time
heretofore made And I do ordain
& ratify these presents to stand
& be for & as my only last Will
& Testament In Witness whereof
to this my said Will I have set
my Hand and Seal the third Day
of September in the Year of our
Lord One thousand eight hundred
& seven & in the fifty second
Year of the reign of His Majesty
King George the third over Great
Britain etc. Witness my Hand &
