In the Name of God Amen I Uriah Miller of
Dorking in the County of Surry Shopkeeper being of sound Mind
Memory and understanding Do make publish and declare this as and
for my last Will and Testament in manner and form following
ffirst and Principally I recommend my Soul unto God my Creator
hoping to have Pardon for my Sins And my Body I commit to the
Earth to be decently Buried at the discretion of my Executrix
herein after named I give and devise unto my Housekeeper Ann
Cranham All that my Messuage or Tenement with the Garden and
Appurtenances thereunto belonging situate lying and being in the
Ram Alley in Dorking aforesaid and now in the tenure or
occupation of Samuel Child To hold the same unto her the said
Ann Cranham and her Assigns for and during the term of her
natural life And fro and after her decease I give and devise the
same Premises with the Appurtenances unto my reputed Son George
Miller otherwise Cranham Whom I had by the said Ann Cranham his
Heirs and Assigns for ever I also give and bequeath unto the
said Ann Cranham All my Monies Securities for Money Stock in the
ffunds Stock in Business Goods Chattels Personal Estate and
Effects whatsoever and wheresoever To hold the same and every
part thereof unto her the said Ann Cranham her Executors
Administrators and Assigns as and for her and their own Goods
and Chattells for ever she and they paying thereout my just
debts and ffuneral Expences And I do hereby nominate constitute
and appoint the said Ann Cranham sole Executrix of this my Will
hereby revoking all former and other Will and Wills by me at any
time heretofore made In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my
Hand and Seal the sixteenth day of March in the Year of our Lord
one thousand seven hundred and seventy eight The mark X and Seal
