In The Name of God Amen. The eleventh Day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty Seven I William Miles of Gilvachymurson in the Parish of Kilrhedyn in the County of Carmarthen Farmer being aged sickly and weak in body yet of sound mind memory and understanding praise be to God do make and publish this my last will and Testament in manner and form Following : That is to say : First and Principally I recommend my soul into the hands Of the Almighty God And my body I commit to the Earth to be decently buried at the Direction of my Executrix hereinafter named and as touching the Disposition of all such Temporal Estate wich (sic) hath pleased God to bestow upon me I shall Dispose of the same as Followeth: That is to say: Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my Four sons named John James Joshua and Lewis Miles the sum of Ten Shillings: That is to say: the sum of two shillings and sixpence to Each of them Also I give and bequeath unto my son Nathaniel Miles the sum of Two Shillings and six pence Also I give and bequeath unto my two Daughters named Margaret Hughs (sic) and Martha Thomas the sum of five shillings: that is to say: The sum of two shillings and sixpence to Each of them Also I give and bequeathunto my youngest Daughter Mary Miles the sum of Twenty Pounds or the full value thereof And my will is that all the above legacies shall be paid within the First year and a half after my Decease As to all the rest residue and remainder of all my personal Estate Goods and Chattles rights and Credits moveable and Immoveable whatsoever I am owner of I wholly Give and bequeath the same unto my well beloved and weaded (sic) wife Martha Miles whom I make Ordain constitute and appoint sole Executrix of this my Last will and testament to pay my debts Legacies and Funeral Expenses and to do and perform all other things That belong to an Executrix and I do hereby revoke and Disanull all former wills by me heretofore made ratifying amd Confirming this to be my Last will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and seal the Day and year First above written -----
