The Will of William Middleton

 

In the Name of God Amen This is the last Will and Testament of me William Middleton of Claverdon in the County of Warwick Miller ffirst I will and direct that all such just debts that I shall owe at the time of my decease together with my ffuneral Testamentary and other Charges and Expences be in the first place paid and discharged by my Executors hereinafter named as soon as conveniently may be I give and bequeath to my brother in Law John Middleton and Anne his Wife my Sister Mary the Wife of John Worsey my Sister in Law Anne Wife of my Brother Samuel my Brother Edward and John Gumbley and Eleanor his Wife and his brother Matthew each a Suit of Mourning at my decease I also give order and direct that a Tomb Stone be erected to my memory as soon as convenient by my Executors I also give and bequeath to the children of my brother Thomas Middleton of Preston Baggott Viz William Anne Lydia Thomas Mary Anne and Caroline the sum of Ten Pounds each share and share alike all the rest and residue of my property after the before mentioned Legacies are paid I give and bequeath the same to my brother Thomas’s children William Anne Lydia Thomas Mary Anne and Caroline(before named)my brother Samuel’s Son Edward my brother in Law John Worsey’s daughter Mary and my Brother in Law John Middleton’s Son and Daughter Henry and Harriet to be equally divided among them share and share alike All which said Legacies to be paid them at the end of twelve months after my decease And I hereby nominate constitute and appoint my brother Edward Middleton of Birmingham and my brother in Law John Middleton of Rowington in the County of Warwick Executors of this my Will And in Testimony that this is my last Will and Testament I have hereunto set and Affixed my Hand and Seal the Twentieth day of June in the Year of Our Lord One thousand eight hundred and twenty nine Wm Middleton
