The last Will and Testament of me John
Meredith of Knighton in the County of Radnor Gentleman I give devise
and bequeath unto my two Sons Thomas Meredith and Spencer Newcombe
Meredith All my Real and Personal Estate of what kind or nature
soever and to the survivor of them in trust that they or the
survivor of them may sell and dispose of the same for the best price
that can be got for the Real and Personal Estate And the Money
arising from such Sale After Payment of my Debts I give and bequeath
the same to my five sons namely Thomas Charles William Edward and
Spencer Newcombe to be equally divided between them share and share
alike Whereas I am interested in and entitled to the Equity of
Redemption of a House and Malthouse with the Appurtenances now in
the Possession of George Davies Maltster And a Public House
adjoining called the New Inn in the possession of William Thomas
situate lying and being in the Town of Knighton in the County of
Radnor now I do hereby give and devise my Estate and Interest unto
my two Sons Thomas Meredith and Spencer Newcombe Meredith And their
Heirs In Trust that they or the survivor of them may call upon the
Mortgagees who are in Possession of the Premises for an Account of
the Rents and Profits and after such Accounts are settled my Will is
that Sons Thomas and Spencer Newcombe and the Survivor of them shall
sell and dispose of the same for the best price that can be got and
the Money arising from such sale I give and bequeath the same to and
amongst my five Sons aforesaid to be equally divided between them
share and share alike I give and bequeath to my servant Ann Jones
the half Tester Bed Bed Clothes and Lookingglass which is in my Room
over the Parlor it being the request of my late dear Wife that she
should have the same And I do hereby Nominate and Appoint my Sons
Thomas Meredith and Spencer Newcombe Meredith Joint Executors and
Trustees of this my Will hereby revoking all former Will or Wills by
me heretofore made In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand
and seal the second Day of ffebruary in the forty third Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third King of the United
Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and in the Year of our Lord one
thousand Eight hundred and three Jno Meredith
