In the Name of God Amen I Roger Meadow of Ormskirk In ye County of Lancr being of a sound Perfect & Disposing Memory but weak of Body Does herby make this my last will & Testamt In Manner & fform as follows-
Impremis It is my mind & will if it so Please God to take me out of this world at this time to have a Decent burial according to ye Discretion of my Executors hereafter Nominated
Item I give & Bequeath unto my well beloved wife my House & Ground belonging therto Lying in Bickersteth being in two Leases under Sr Edwd Standley Barrt. During her widowhood but if she Does either Marry or Miscarry then the same to be for ye use of bringing upp of my younger Children unto ye years of Twenty one & then to have a Just value of the same Giving my Son Thos ye preferance to give or take & ye remaindr to be Equally Divided amongst my younger Children
Item I give & bequeath unto my sd beloved wife the remaindr of my Personal Estate wls over & above Paying my Just Debts & funeral Expences During her Widowhood but if she Does Marry or Miscarry then ye same to goe for ye use of bringing upp my Young Children to ye years of Twenty one then to be equally Divided among my sd Children
Lastly I doe hereby Nominate & appoint my father inlaw James Halewood & my Bror Peter Meadow to be my Lawfull Executors Hopeing they will faithfully fulfil this my last will & Testamt as my trust is in them
