In the name of God Amen I Henry Meadow of Lathom in the County of Lancaster yeoman being weak of body but of sound mind and Memory doe make and ordaine this my last will and testament in manner and form following
I give and bequeath to my son in law Thomas Tompson and his wife Mary the Sume of thirty three pounds to be paid at twelve month and after my decease
I leave to my daughter Elizabeth Smyth the wife of Thomas Smyth one Shilling in full of portions and all demands of my personal estate
I leave to my son James Meadow sixty pounds to be paid to him at marriage or when he attain to the age of twenty one whether first shall happen
I leave to my son John Meadow all the rest  of my personal estate goods and Chattels with a Charge to pay my debts, if any funeral Expenses and the probate here of and to bring up my son James Meadow till he come to age to maintain himself lastly I nominat and appoint my son John Meadow and my son in law Thomas Tompson Executors of this my will and Testament as witness my hand this twenty seventh day of april one thousand seven hundred Forty nine
