The Will of Anne Maylyns

 

In the name of God Amen. The Ffirst day of May Anno Domini one thousand Six hundred fforty Eight

I Anne Maylyns of Tysoe in the County of Warwicke being perfect in Mynde and memory thanks and praise bee given to God therefore Doe make and ordayne this my last will and Testament in manner and Forme Ffollowinge  Ffirst I bequeath my Soule into the handes of Almighty God my maker and Redeemer and my body to bee buried in Christian Burial, in full and certayne hope of resurrection to eternall life, And those worldly such God of his goodnesse hath given mee

I bequeath as Follows. 

Imprimis I give unto my Sonne William Malyns twelve pence, Item, I give unto my Sonne Thomas Maylins twelve pence, Item I give unto my Daughter Ffrances Cleidon twelve pence, Item I give unto my daughter Anne ?Ch?icorne twelve pence, Item all other my goods, cattle and chattles vugiven And virbequeathed my Debts paid and legacyse discharged and ffunerall expence defrayed I give and bequeath unto my sonne Martyn Maylins whome I make my full and whole Executor, revoakinge all former wills and Testaments whatsoevere.  In wittnesse whereof I have Sett to myne hande the Day and yeare first abovewritten In the prescence of, Anne Malyns her Marke, Iosu? Stevenage ?Cler? (cleric?), Mary Stevenage her marke
