This is the last Will and Testament of me
Stephen May of Froyle in the County of Southampton Gardener
whereby I bequeath unto my Grand Children John May William May
Elizabeth May and James May Sons and Daughter of my late Son
William May the Sum of five pounds each and direct the same to
be paid to the three former as soon as may be after my decease
and their receipts shall be a full discharge notwithstanding
their Minority and the latter Sum of five pounds to my Grandson
James May I direct to be placed in his name in the Farnham
Savings Bank Also I give unto my Granddaughter Ann Haben the
like Sum of five pounds And to all the rest and Residue of my
Effects and Personal Estate I give and bequeath the same subject
to the payment of my Debts and Funeral Expences unto and equally
between my two Daughters Ann Habin and Elizabeth Midlane but in
case the said Ann Haben should die in my life time then I give
her Share of residuum unto my said Granddaughter Ann Habin and
in case the said Elizabeth Midlane should so die then I give her
share thereof unto and equally between all my said Grandchildren
And I appoint the said Ann Habin my Daughter sole Executrix of
this my Will In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and
Seal the 6th day of July One thousand eight hundred and thirty
seven
