In the Name of God Amen the twenty fourth day
of May in the Second year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lord King
George the Second And in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven
hundred twenty nine I Bridget Martyr of Cobham in the County of
Surry widow being in perfect health of Body and of a sound disposing
mind and memory do make and Ordain this my last will and Testament
in manner and form following Imprimis I give and bequeath my Soul
into the hands of God that gave it and my Body I Commit to the Earth
to be buryed in a Christian and decent like manner at the discretion
of my Executors hereinafter mentioned And as for my Worldly Estate I
give and bequeath the same in manner and form following Imprimis I
give and bequeath unto Anne the Wife of John Chamberlain fifty
Pounds of lawfull money of Great Britain to be paid unto her in
twelve months next after my decease Item I give and bequeath to the
said Anne Chamberlain six large Silver Spoons and to her Assigns for
ever Item I give and bequeath to John the son of Edward Martyr and
to Elizabeth Cokes One Guinea each to be paid unto them in twelve
months after my decease Item I give and bequeath to Rebecca the Wife
of John Goddard One Guinea to be paid unto her within twelve months
after my decease Item I give and bequeath unto Alice Tidey and Sarah
Tidey all the rest of my goods Chattells and Personal Estate not
before bequeathed they paying jointly all my debts Lgacys and
ffuneral Expences And I do hereby make nominate constitute and
appoint the said Alice Tidey and Sarah Tidey Joint Executors of this
my last Will and Testament hereby revoking disannulling and making
void all Wills Testaments by me Willed made and bequeathed ratifying
and.......this to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I
have hereunto sett my hand and Seal the day and year first above
