In the Name of God Amen the Twentie first day of September In the Year of our Lord one Thousand seven Hundred Thirty and five I Henry Martin of Great Easton in the County of Leicester being Old and Weak in Body but of sound and perfect Memory, Praise be given to Almighty God for the same: and knowing the uncertainty of this Life on Earth and being desireous to settle things in order do make this my Last Will and Testament In manner and form following. First and Principally I Commend my Soul to Almighty God my Creator: and my Body to the Earth from whence it was taken to be Buried in such decent and Christian Manner as my Executor hereafter named shall be thought Meet and Convenient, and as to my Worldly Estate as the Lord in his Mercy hath lent me My Will and Testament is as followeth Item I Give to my Eldest son Thomas Martin one shilling Item I Give to my son Henry Martin one shilling Item I give to my daughter Issabella Martin one Shilling Item I Give to my three Daughters Namely Elizabeth Martin, Anne Martin and Hannah Martin all those Goods herein named, Two Tables, One Chest, two bedsteds, One woolbed, four blanketts, two Barrells, two little brass pans, three pewter dishes, seven pewter plates, Eight Chairs, One Cupboard two Candlesticks, one firing Shovel, One pewter Shelf, one Iron Pot, My Will is that these Goods be equally devided among them, Share and Share alike Item I Give to my Son John Martin my two Cows, ffifteen sheep, and all my shop goods, and all other things to me belonging And I do hereby make and ordain my Son John Martin my full and whole Executor ratifying and confirming this my and none other to be my last Will and Testament In Wittness whereof I have sett my Hand and Seal the Day and Year above written
