The Will of Edward Martin

 

This is the last Will and Testament of me Edward Martin of Saddington in the County of Leicester Taylor as follows (that is to say) All that my Messuage or Tenement in Saddington aforesaid And my Close or new Inclosed Ground in the Lordship Parish or Liberties of Saddington aforesaid containing four Acres or thereabouts with their and every of their Appurtenances All which Premises are now in my own occupation I give and devise Unto Sarah Beardsworth Spinster Grandaughter of my late Wife Elizabeth Martin deceased To hold to her the said Sarah Beardsworth her Heirs and Assigns for ever Also I give and bequeath unto my three Nephews Abraham Bosworth Joseph Bosworth and Thomas Perkins the Sum of Ten pounds apiece to be paid unto them by my Executrix hereinafter named within twelve months next after my decease out of my personal Estate And Lastly all my Goods Cattle Chattels ready money and Securities for money and Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever I give and bequeath unto the said Sarah Beardsworth who I do hereby make sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament revoking all others by me at any time heretofore made In Witness whereof I the said Edward Martin have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this thirtieth day of April one thousand seven hundred and ninety four The Mark of Edward X Martin
