The last Will and Testament of me John Mant Senior of Woking in the County of Surrey Blockmaker who am of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding ffirst I give and bequeath unto James Mansell of Woking aforesaid Blockmaker and ffarmer and James Hodd of Woking aforesaid Shopkeeper and the Survivor of them All that ffour hundred and seventy ffive Pounds Bank Stock in the three per cents consolidated and all my ready Money and all Monies that shall be due and owing to me at my decease upon Securities and otherwise Upon trust nevertheless and to the Intent and Purpose that Upon trust nevertheless and to the Intent and Purpose that the said James Mansell and James Hodd and the Survivor of them and the Executors and Administrators of such Survivor shall and do put and place the same out at Interest from time to time as the same shall become due and be received unto and for the use and benefit of my Wife Ann for and during the term of her natural life if she shall so long continue my Widow and unmarried And upon further trust that my said trustees or the Survivor of them or Executors or Administrators of such Survivor shall and do immediately after my said Wife’s decease or Marriage again which shall first happen Pay and divide all the said trust Monies unto and unto and equally between my Sons John and James and my Daughters Sarah and Mary their Executors and Administrators Provided always and I will that if my said Wife Ann shall at any time during the time that she shall continue my Widow be reduced to want and have occasion that then my said trustees and the Survivor of them and the Executors and Administrators of such Survivor shall and do pay and apply so much and such part and parts of the said Principal or Trust Monies to and for her Support and Maintenance from time to time during such her Widowhood as they my said trustees and the Survivor of them and the Executors and Administrators of such Survivor shall in their Judgement think necessary and sufficient and I will that in case my said Daughter Mary should die before she comes to the actual Possession of her Part that then James Mansell and James Hodd my said trustees and the Survivor of them and the Executors and Administrators of such Survivor shall and do pay and apply the same unto the whole use and benefit of Sarah natural Daughter of her my said Daughter Mary Also I give and bequeath all the rest and residue of my Goods and Chattels of every kind unto my said Wife Ann subject nevertheless to the Payment of my just debts ffuneral Expences and the Charges of proving this my Will and I do nominate make and appoint the said James Mansell and James Hodd Executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made and I Will and declare that my said Executors and trustees shall not be answerable or accountable for any more money than which they shall actually receive or might have received by virtue of this my Will without their Wilful Neglect or Default nor one of them for the Acts Receipts neglects or Defaults of the other of them only his own acts Receipts neglects and Defaults nor shall they be answerable for any loss that shall or may happen by defect Title or value of any Security or ffund upon which or where in the said trust Monies or any part thereof shall be placed out or invested or by the failure of any Bank Bankers or Banker with whom the said Monies or any part thereof lodged for safe Custody if such loss shall so happen without their Wilful neglect or default or for any other involuntary loss whatsoever and I will that my said Executors and trustees shall be allowed and may deduct and retain from time to time out of the said trust Monies and the Interest and proceeds thereof all their reasonable Costs Charges Damages and Expences which they shall or may bear sustain or be put unto by reason or by means of their taking upon them the Execution of this my Will In Witness whereof I the said John Mant have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and Seal the seventh day of October in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty six John Mant
