From the Worcester Records Office - Will of Thomas Malyn, Yeoman of Tysoe, 1645

 

In the Name of god Amen.  The last day of ffebruary Ano dom 1644.  I Thomas Malyn of Over Tysoe in Coun of warw yeoman though sicke in Body yet perfecte in Mynde and memory thanks and praise be given to god therefore doe make and ordaine this my last will and Testament in maner and forme following.  Ffirst I be-

-queath my soule into the hands of almighty god my maker And redeemer and my body to Christian buryall in full and Certayne hope of resurrection to eternale life and those worldly goods my God hath given me I bequeath as follows

Inprimis  I give unto my son William Malyn £12

Item  I give unto my son Thomas Malyn  £2

Item I give unto my son Martin Malyn £12

Item I give unto my daughter ffrancis Meadowes £12

Item I give unto my daughter An Ankperner  £12

Item I give unto my daughter Margaret Malyn  £12

Item all other my goods, ?cattle? and chattels ungiven and unbe-

-queathed my debts payde, legacies discharged and fu-

-neral expenses defrayed  I give and bequeath unto my

Now wife An Malyn whom I make my full and whole

Executrix revoking all former willes and testaments

Whatsoever  In witness whereof  I have set to myne

Hand the day and yeare first abovewritten
