In the Name of God Amen I Ann Lymington of
Bowling alley Turnmill Street in the Parish of Saint John
Clerkenwell in the County of Middlesex widow do make publish and
declare this to be my last Will and Testament in manner
following that is to say first I will and direct that all my
just debts and ffuneral expences be fully paid and satisfied and
after payment thereof I hereby order and direct that my
ffreehold Messuage or Tenement situate and being No 37 Coppice
Row in the Parish of St James Clerkenwell in the County of
Middlesex aforesaid be sold by my Executor and Executrix
hereinafter named as soon after my decease as possible by public
Auction for the most money that may be got for the same the
money arising from such Sale I give and bequeath as follows that
is to say I give and bequeath one equal sixth part or share
thereof the whole into six parts being divided unto my Son
William Lymington one other equal sixth part or share thereof
unto my Son Thomas Richard Cloudes Lymington and the remaining
four sixth parts or shares thereof I give and bequeath unto my
Son Thomas Richard Cloudes Lymington and Edward Hughes of Castle
Street Holborn London Gentleman their heirs Executors
Administrators and Assigns upon trust that they and the Survivor
of them do and shall immediately upon the Receipt thereof from
my said Executor and Executrix pay and divide the same equally
and amongst my four Daughters Ann Lymington Mary Lymington Sarah
the Wife of John Williams and Elizabeth Lymington to and for
their sole and seperate use and benefit or unto any such person
or persons as they or any of them shall be any writing or
writings under their or any of their hands to be attested by two
or more credible Witnesses direct or appoint and my mind and
Will is that the aforesaid shares of my said Daughters shall not
be subject or liable to the payment of the debts or controul of
any Husband they or either of them now have or may hereafter
marry but that the same shall be received and taken by them and
every of them solely for their own seperate use and benefit and
in case of the death of any or either of my said Sons or
Daughters before he she or they shall so become entitled as
aforesaid then my mind and Will is that the part or share of him
her or them so dying shall go and be divided equally amongst the
Survivors in manner aforesaid and I also give and bequeath the
Lease of my now Dwelling House situate in Bowling Alley
aforesaid Household ffurniture Stock in trade and utensils
whatsoever and wheresoever unto my said two Sons William
Lymington and Thomas Richard Cloudes Lymington and the Survivor
of them upon trust that they do and shall permit and suffer the
Trade or business of a Bow String Maker which I now follow to be
carried on therein by all or any of my said Daughters during so
long a time as they or any of them shall remain unmarried and my
mind and Will is that the said trade or business shall be so
carried on by my said Daughters for their own sole and separate
use and benefit and that if any of my said Daughters shall be in
Service it shall it may be a home for any or either of them at
such time or times as they or either of them shall or may be out
of place and my mind and Will also is and I do hereby order and
direct that immediately after my decease a fair valuation shall
be taken of the House Household ffurniture Business Stock in
trade and utensils by some fit and proper person to be agreed on
for that purpose and on such valuation being made one equal
sixth part or share thereof the whole being in six equal parts
divided I give and bequeath unto my said Son Thomas Richard
Cloudes Lymington and Edward Hughes their Executors
Administrators and Assigns upon trust that they and the Survivor
of them do and shall pay the same into the proper hands of my
said Daughter Sarah the Wife of John Williams to and for her own
sole and seperate use and benefit and the Receipt of her shall
be a sufficient discharge to them for the same and in case of
the marriage of either of my said Daughters Ann Mary and
Elizabeth that then a like valuation shall be taken of my said
House Household ffurniture Business Stock in trade and utensils
and one equal fifth part or share thereof the whole being in
five equal parts divided shall be paid to such of my Daughters
who shall have been then married by the others of my unmarried
Daughters and the Receipt of such my said Daughter who shall
have been married shall be a sufficient discharge to my said
Daughters who shall be then unmarried for the same and in like
manner in case of the marriage of either of the others of my
said Daughters which said shares so to be received and taken
respectively by my said Daughter Sarah the Wife of John Williams
and by my said other Daughters on their marriage shall be so
taken and received by them in full satisfaction and discharge of
every thing they may become entitled unto under this bequest but
if at any time after my decease all my said Daughters who shall
be then unmarried shall with my said two Sons be desirous to
dispose of the said Lease Household ffurniture Business Stock in
trade and utensils then and in such case my mind and Will is and
I do hereby order and direct my said two Sons William Lymington
and Thomas Richard Cloudes Lymington to cause a Sale thereof to
be made by public auction or otherwise as they shall seem most
advantageous and the money arising by such Sale I give and
bequeath as follows that is to say I give and bequeath one
equal part or share thereof the whole being in equal parts
divided I give and bequeath unto my Son William Lymington one
other equal part or share thereof unto my Son Thomas Richard
Cloudes Lymington and the remaining parts or shares thereof I
give and bequeath unto my said Son Thomas Richard Cloudes
Lymington and the said Edward Hughes upon trust that they do and
shall pay and divide the same equally and amongst my said three
Daughters Ann Lymington Mary Lymington and Elizabeth Lymington
or such of them as shall be then unmarried to and for their own
sole and separate use and benefit or unto such person or persons
as they or any of them shall be any writing or writings under
their or any of their hands to be attested by two or more
credible Witnesses direct or appoint and their Receipts shall be
sufficient discharges to them for the same and in case of the
death of any or either of my said Sons or Daughters before he
she or they shall so become entitled as aforesaid then my mind
and Will is and I do hereby order will and direct that the part
or share of him her or them so dying shall go and be divided
equally amongst the Survivors in manner aforesaid and I also
give and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my
personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever unto my
said Sons and Daughters or unto such of them as shall be living
at the time of my decease equally to be divided between them
share and share alike the parts or shares of my said Daughters I
give and bequeath unto my said Son Thomas Richard Cloudes
Lymington and Edward Hughes upon trust to pay the same into
their own proper hands severally to and for their own sole and
separate use and benefit and the Receipts of them my said
Daughters shall be sufficient discharges to them for the same
and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Son
Thomas Richard Cloudes Lymington and my said Daughter Ann
Lymington Executor and Executrix of this my Will and I do hereby
revoke and make void all former and other Will and Wills by me
at any time or times heretofore made and declare this only to be
my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Ann
Lymington the Testatrix have to this my last Will and Testament
contained in four sheets of paper to the three first sheets
whereof set my mark and to this the fourth and last sheet
thereof set my mark and Seal the fourth day of May in the forty
second year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third
by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and
Ireland King Defender of the ffaith and in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred and two the mark X of Ann Lymington
