This is the last Will
and Testament of me
Catherine Lutman of
Offham in the Parish of
South Stoke in the
County of Sussex Widow
of Lieutenant William
Lutman of the Royal Navy
I give devise and
bequeath all and every
of my estates ffreehold
leasehold Copyhold real
and Personal all my
Household furniture
goods plate linen and
money unto my loving
daughter Ann Maria
Seward Lutman for her
sole use but if she
should be without issue
I then bequeath the
above named Property to
be equally divided
between my four sisters
and Charles Lasseter my
nephew only son of my
deceased sister Mary Ann
late Wife of Charles
Lasseter Watch Maker of
Steyning in Sussex viz.
To Charles Lasseter as
aforesaid one part to my
sister Elizabeth Wife of
Thomas Woodward of Moor
Mill near St Albans
Herts one part To my
sister Jane Widow of
Moses Kenney one part To
my sister Sarah Widow of
Joseph Hatfield one part
To my sister Susanna
Widow of John Seward one
part and I desire that
if a favourable
opportunity should offer
for disposing of any of
the above named property
during the lifetime of
my Ann Maria Seward
Lutman the Executors
hereafter named have
full power and authority
with the consent of my
Daughter aforesaid to
dispose of the said
estates together with
the house furniture Etc.
Etc. And I hereby
authorise and appoint
Thomas Woodward of Moor
Mill near St Albans
Herts Miller and Charles
Seward of Tun...
Godalming Surry Captn in
the Royal Navy to be the
Executors of this my
last Will and Testament
hereby revoking all
former Wills In Witness
whereof I the within
named Testatrix

day of October in the

thousand eight hundred
and thirty five and in
