The Will of John Loop

 

This is the last Will and Testament of me John Loop of Morden in the County of Dorset Clerk ffirst I direct that my ffuneral expences shall be defrayed by my Executor hereinafter named I give and bequeath unto my Aunt Susannah ffox the sum of sixteen pounds to be paid her quarterly every year during the term of her life as Ann Annuity the first Payment or Proportion thereof to be paid on the first quarter day next after my decease which said Annuity I charge on that part alone of my real and personal Estate which I do hereafter devise and bequeath to my said Executor Also I give and bequeath to my friend ffrancis ffane of Spitsbury in the said County of Dorset Esquire and to his Executors Administrators and Assigns All that Leasehold Dwellinghouse with a Garden thereunto adjoining and belonging situate on the South side of a Lane within the Town of Dorchester in the said County of Dorset commonly called Durn Lane together with all the Appurtenances thereunto belonging and the same Term Right Tithe and Interest as I was entitled unto at the time of my decease with the Indenture or Lease thereof bearing date the fourth day of June One thousand seven hundred and eighty nine granted to me by the Right Honorable Elizabeth Countess Dowager of Ilchester Also I give and bequeath to Thomas Carter of Morden aforesaid Carpenter and to his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns the residue and remainder of my Estate both real and Personal Of what nature or kindsoever and wheresoever but under and subject to the sum of Sixteen Pounds as bequeathed as aforesaid And I do appoint the said Thomas Carter to be the Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all Wills and Will by me heretofore made As Witness my hand this nineteenth day of January One thousand seven hundred and ninety nine John Loop
