I John Loadman of Kirkby Stephen in the County of Westmoreland Gentleman do make my last Will and Testament as follows, that is to say I give unto my Wife Dorothy Loadman her Executors Administrators and Assigns All my Leasehold Houses Buildings and premises situate in the Parish of St. Pancras in the County of Middlesex. I also give and devise unto my said Wife her heirs and Assigns for ever by Virtue of a Power [?reserved] to or vested in me All my Houses Buildings Lands and premises situate in the Manor of Kirkby Stephen [illegible word] lately [illegible word] over to Richard Payton for the [illegible word] of this my Will and I hereby make my said Wife sole Executrix of this my Will and revoke all others  In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the twenty second day of August 1825 *[deleted: 'the second'] James Brougham ~ Elizth. Proved at London 10th May 1828 before the Wpful Charles Cook Dr. of Laws & Surr[ogate] by the oath of Dorothy Loadman Widow the Relict of the said [illegible word] the sole Executrix to whom Admon was granted & having been first sworn duly to administer.
