In the name of God Amen the 12^th day of June in the year of our Lord God a thousand five hundrend seventyeight I William Leeds of the parish of Frittenden in the county of Kent being sick in body & of a perfect remembrance thanks be to Almighty God for it do make & ordain this my last will & testament in manner & for following.

First I bequeath my soul to Almighty God my redeemer & saviour & my body to the earth where it shall please God.

Also I bequeath unto John Leeds my son twenty pounds in pence and pennyworth to be paid within two years after my decease.

Also I will to William my son £5 in pence and pennyworth to be paid within two years after my decease.

Item I will to Abraham my son five pounds of good & lawful money of England to be paid within three years after my decease.

Also I will to Richard my son nine pounds in pence & pennyworth to be paid within four years after my decease.

Also I will to Edward my son in pence & pennyworth £5 to be payd when he cometh to the age of 24.

Also I will to Roger Claygate one lamb.

Also I will to William Claygate my godson one lamb.

All the residue of my goods I will and bequeath to Joane my wyf whom I do ordain and make my sole executrix to pay my debts and legacies of this my will in manner and form specified.

Also I will to the poor mens box 12d.
