Leede of the parish of
Benenden in the county
of Kent, yeoman, doth
make this my present
testament & last will in
manner and Form
following Firstly I
bequeath my soul to
Almighty God & my body
to the earth.
Item I give & bequeath
to Isabell my wife all
my moveable goods paying
my debts and legacies.
Item I give & bequeath
to every of my God
children xiid a piece to
be paid to them within
one half year after my
decease.
Item I give & bequeath
to William Russell my
best cote.
Item I give & bequeath
to Jervyce Day my cloak.
Item I bequeath to
Elizabeth Harrys my
servant my featherbed
and bolster lying upon
the truckle bed in my
gesson chamber.
Item I will to Isabell
my wife my house & land
that I now dwell in
during the time of her
natural life & after the
decease of Isabell my
wife I will my said
house & land to my
brother William Leede of
Tenterden for the term
of his life and after
the decease of my said
brother William I will
it to his son
Christopher Leede in fee
simple forever.
Item I will that there
be bestowed at my burial
at the discretion of my
executrix xiid and that
she see me honestly
buried.
Item my will and mind is
that Isabell my wife
shall be my sole
executrix of this my
present testament & last
will witness at the
making and declaring of
this present testament &
last will Lawrence Leede
& John Watts
