The Will of James Lee

 

I James Lee of Market Street, Hoylake, in the county of Cheshire being of sound mind thus publish and declare my last Will and Testament. I give and bequeath to my wife Mary Ann Lee All my household furniture clothing money and other personal ….that I may have at the time of my death I further give and bequeath to my wife Mary Ann Lee all profit and interest rent etc that may derive from my two houses situated in Market Street Hoylake in the county of Cheshire during the term of her natural life at the death of my wife Mary Ann Lee the property is to be sold the mortgage (if there be any) paid off and the residue divided amongst my children namely Joseph Roberts Thomas Lee Annabella Lee John Lee Frederick Lee Mary Alice Lee and Gertrude Lee or so many of them as shall be alive at the time of my wife Mary Ann Lee decease share and share alike I appoint my two sons Joseph Roberts and Thomas Lee Executors of this my last Will and Testament
Dated at Hoylake this sixteenth day of April one thousand eight hundred and seventy six James Lee
Witnesses: Jabez Gould; John Shaw


Proved at Chester the 24th October 1876 by the oaths of Joseph Roberts and Thomas Lee the son the Executors to whom Administration was granted


The Testator James Lee was late of Market Street Hoylake in the county of Chester and died on the 27th day of May 1876 at Market Street aforesaid
