I Ebenezer Latham of Derby in the County
of Derby Doctor of Physick do make this my Will in manner
following (that is to say) First I make and appoint my three
Daughters Executrixes thereof Also I give my dear Brother Samuel
Latham and my Son in Law Doctor Snowden White ten Pounds each to
buy them Mourning Also I give to my Brother Dr Lemuel Latham and
his two daughters Margaret and Mary and my Sister Priscilla
Jones and my Brother in Law Mr Willetts and my Cousins Dr
Doughty and Mr Samuel Seal a Mourning Ring each or the value
thereof in money And my Mind and Will is that if my Niece
ffrances Jones shall not Cohabit with any of my said Daughters
and become incapable of doing Service that they my said
Executrixes Shall allow her four Pounds a Year during her life
Also all the residue of my Personal Estate and all my real
Estate whatsoever and wheresoever after Payment of my Debts and
funeral Expences I give devise and bequeath to my said
Executrixes and to their respective Heirs Executors
Administrators and Assigns for ever Share and Share alike as
Tenants in Common and not as joint Tenants Provided nevertheless
and my Will is that it shall be lawful for my two daughters Mary
and Elizabeth to inhabit and live in and upon my Estate at
ffinden and to receive the Profits thereof to their own use
during the time they continue there upon their Allowing my
daughter White four Pounds a Year for such Priviledge And I do
request and desire my said Brother Samuel and son in Law White
will as far as their Health and Distance will permit give my
said Daughters their best Advice and Assistance in the
Management and Conducting of their Affairs And I do hereby
revoke all former Wills In Witness whereof to this my last Will
and Testament I have set my hand and seal the eighth day of
December in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and
