This is the last Will and Testament of me William Knight of Ashbydelazouch in the County of Leicester Hosier ffirst I direct all my just debts and Testamentary expences to be paid as soon as conveniently may be out of my Personal Estate I give and bequeath to my daughter Maria fifty pounds to be paid to her within twelve Calendar months after my decease I will and direct that my son Robert shall have the Privilege of taking to all my spinning machinery immediately after my decease at one half of the value thereof such valuation to be made by a Competent Person to be fixed upon by my Executors hereafter named I give devise and bequeath all that my freehold messuage tenement or dwellinghouse with the shops buildings Yard Garden and appurts thereto belonging situate and being in Ashbydelazouch aforesaid and now in my own occupation and also all other my real estate whatsoever and wheresoever and also all and singular my household Goods and furniture stock in trade monies and securities for money and all other my personal Estate and Effects of what nature sort or kind soever and wheresoever the same may be unto and to the use of my dear Wife for and during the term of her natural life And from and after her decease I give devise and bequeath the same unto and to the use of my Sons John Robert and Thomas and my daughter Maria (in equal shares and proportions as tenants in common and not as joint tenants) their heirs Executors Admors and assigns And lastly I constitute and appoint my said Sons John Robert and Thomas Executors of this my Will In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirteenth day of March one thousand eight hundred and thirty  _ William Knight
