The Will of William King

 

In the name of God Amen I William King Locksmith of Lemon Tree Yard Bedfordbury in the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields Westminster in the County of Middlesex being in sound mind and memory but afflicted in body and knowing it is appointed for all men to die and after death the judgment do first recommend my Soul to God in hopes of a joyful Resurrection through the merits and mediation of Jesus Christ my Saviour and my body to the Earth to be decently buried and I do declare this to be my last will and testament and I give to my daughter Elizabeth Mauther a silver Milk Pot and to my daughter Amelia King a metal watch and to my daughter Isabella King two table spoons markt W.A.R And I give to my loving wife Ann King all the rest of my property trade household goods cash book debts and whatsoever may be left to me and I do hereby appoint her to be my whole & sole executrix dated this ninth day of Dec One thousand eight hundred and nine William King
