In the Name of God Amen I
Bethia King of Shipston upon Stower in the
County of Worcester Widow do make and ordain
this to be my last Will and Testament in manner
and form following that is to say I direct that
all my just debts funeral and Testamentary
expences may be fully paid and satisfied by my
Executors hereinafter named out of my residuary
estate I give and bequeath unto my niece
Charlotte Gibbons Wife of Major Gibbons of
Southampton the interest of five hundred pounds
for her life to be paid her regularly half
yearly by my Executrix hereinafter named and
from and immediately after her decease I give
and bequeath the said principal sum of five
hundred pounds unto my great niece niece
Charlotte Coombs daughter of my niece Mary
Coombs to be at her own disposal I also give and
bequeath unto my said niece Charlotte Gibbons my
mock diamond Earrings I give and bequeath unto
my said great niece Charlotte Coombs two hundred
pounds stock and all my linen and wearing
apparel and I direct that she shall be entitled
to the interest of such sum of two hundred
pounds stock from the time of my death until the
same shall be paid and in consideration of her
attachment and faithful services to myself and
my late husband I give and bequeath unto my
servant Nanny Ilett the sum of ten pounds and to
Sarah Garrett of Tysoe in the County of Warwick
the sum of five pounds which sums I direct shall
be paid them as soon as may be after my decease
I also give and bequeath unto my friend Mrs
ffindon my diamond ring which I request she will
accept and wear for my sake I also bequeath unto
Mr John Hornblow of Shipston aforesaid my old
family Bible and to Mr ffrederick ffindon the
sum of five pounds and all the rest & residue of
my estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever
I give devise and bequeath unto my said niece
Mary Coombs of Southampton aforesaid charged
with the payment of my debts and legacies as
above mentioned for her life only and after her
decease I give devise and bequeath the same and
every part thereof unto my said great niece
Charlotte Coombs her heirs Executors
Administrators and assigns for ever and lastly I
do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my
said niece Mary Coombs sole Executrix of this my
last Will and Testament hereby revoking all
former Wills by me at any time heretofore made

twenty eighth day of December one thousand eight
