The Will of Elizabeth Kimpton
This is
the last Will and Testament of
me Elizabeth Kimpton of Bourn in
the County of Cambridge Widow
Firstly I give and bequeath unto
my dear Sister Catherine Kimpton
All my household Furniture Plate
Books Linen and Wearing Apparel
whatsoever and wheresoever
Secondly I give and bequeath
unto my dear Sister Ann Maberly
Fifty pounds Thirdly I give and
bequeath unto my Niece Ann
Kimpton (the eldest daughter of
my late Brother William Kimpton)
ten pounds Fourthly I give and
bequeath unto Elizabeth Kimpton
Widow (Relict of my late Brother
William Kimpton) ten pounds
Fifthly I give and bequeath unto
my Cousin William Rigg of
Barkway in the County of
Hertford Farmer one hundred
pounds Sixthly I give and
bequeath unto George Kimpton
Harrup (reputed Son of my
deceased Husband) Fifty pounds
Seventhly all the rest and
residue of my property
whatsoever and wheresoever
(which remains after paying the
before mentioned Legacies just
debts and funeral expences) I
give and bequeath unto my dear
Sister Catherine Kimpton
aforesaid Eighthly my will and
desire is that all the Legacies
aforesaid shall be paid unto the
respective Legatees by my
Executrix hereinafter named
within twelve calendar months
after my decease Lastly I do
hereby constitute and appoint my
dear Sister Catherine Kimpton
aforesaid sole Executrix of this
my last Will and Testament
Witness my hand this 14th day of
May 1854
