Makerfeild in the County of Lancaster wyddow being sicke in body
but of p’fect Remembrance thanks be geven to almighty god do
heer I hope in the feare of god and by his especiall ayd and
assistante ordayne Constitute and make this my last will and
testament in maner and forme following that is to saye first and
principally I Commend and Comytt my sole into the hands of
almighty god who hath Created me to Jesus Christ who hath
redeemed mee in whome I ….. and through whom I hope to have
Everlasting life And my bodie to be buried in the P’r’sh Church
of Grappenhall Item yt is my will and mynd that all my depts
legasies and funeral expenses shall be discharged out of my
whole goods It’m I geve and bequeath to William Maddocks the son
of John Maddocks ten shillings It’m I geve to James Leigh a Cow

Leigh paying unto his sonne Alexander the som of ten shillings

Coffrs & arkes I geve to Peter Kenyon my son And all the tables

Item I geve to Peter Kenyon & Mary Kenyon my Children all my
brasse & pewter ……….. equally to bee devided between them Item
I geve to Ann devias my ……. Three measures of otes yearly for

I dayly were It’m I geve to Ellen Leigh my Cloak if she will yt

and the residue and remander of all my goods I geve and bequeath
to Peter Kenyon and Mary Kenyon my two Children to be equally
devided between them It’m I doe ordegne Constitute and make
