The Will of Richard Judge

 

In the name of God Amen I Richard Judge of Padbury in the County of Bucks Being weak of body but of perfect understanding and memory praised be god do make and ordain this my last will and testament as follows first I bequeath my soul into the hands of allmighty god hoping through The merits of Jesus Christ to Receive free pardon for all my Sins and my body I Comitt to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executors hearafter named and as for my worldly Estate I dispose as follows Item I give and bequeath unto my Cousen William Judge of bourton Junior in the precept of Buckingham my house in Padbury in which I now live in with all the apurtinancis belonging To the Same upon Condition he Shall pay thirty Pounds of good and Lawfull money of England of which he Shall pay Twenty pounds to my godson William Clarke of Ballmore my will is he shall pay him ten pounds within six months after my disseas and ten pounds more when he Shall Come to one and Twenty years of age-------and Likewise he Shall pay five pounds to my godson John Judge Junior in Padbury and five pounds to my godson William Judge the Son of Thomas Judge of ffoscutt to be paid them within six month after my deceas-------Item I give and bequeath unto my Cousen Thomas Judge of ffoscutt a parcell of land lying in the Comon fields of Padbury which land was bought of William Merry which parcell of land I give to me his heirs and assigns for Ever-----Item I give and bequeath unto my Cousen John Judge of Padbury Senior a parcell of land lying in the Comon fields of Padbury that was bought of John Snow Item I give unto my uncle John Judge of bintill senior five shillings Item I give unto my Cousen William Judge of bintill senior five Shillings Item I give unto my Cousen Thomas Judge of bintill five Shillings Item I give unto my Servant Mary Aires one pound and one Shilling to be paid by Exectors hearafter named Item all the Rest Residue and Remainder of all my goods and Chattells Redy money and Credits I give unto my Cousen Thomas Judge of ffoscutt and my Cousen John Judge of Padbury Senior upon Condition they shall pay all my debts and leagacies and funerall Charges lawfully Charged upon them and doe appoint them Joynt Execitors of this my last will and testiment In witness whereof I have hearunto sett my hand and seall this sixteenth day of January and in the year of our lord one thousand seaven hundred and thirty       Richard Judge
