The Will of Mary Judge
In the Name of God Amen: I Mary Judge of North
Marston in the County of Bucks Widd Relict and Executrix of the last
Will and Testament of James Judge late of the parish of Barkhamstead St
Peter in the County of Hertf gent deceased being of sound mind and
memory all possible praise be given to Allmighty God for the same and
considering the certainty of death and the uncertaine time thereof doe
make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner following
(that is to say) ffirst I commend my Soul into the hands of Allmighty
God hopeing through the meritorious Death and Passion of Jesus Christ to
be made Partaker of Everlasting Life And my Body I committ to the Earth
to be decently Interred at the discretion of my Executors herein after
named And as for such temporall Estate it hath pleased Allmighty God to
bestow upon me I give and dispose thereof as followeth Imprimis I give
and bequeath unto Elizabeth Saunders my loveing Mother the Sume of Two
Hundred pounds parte of the ffive Hundred Pounds given to me by the last
Will and Testament of Thomas Saunders my late ffather deceased Item I
give and bequeath unto Mr Richard Saunders my Brother and unto Mrs
Elizabeth Saunders and Ellen Saunders my Sisters all the rest and
residue of my personall Estate whatsoever to be Equally Divided between
them Provided nevertheless and my Will is that in case the Childe or
Children whereof I am now pregnant shall happen to survive me Then I
give the same ffive Hundred Pounds and alsoe my personall Estate unto
such Child or Children to be Equally divided And my Will and Desire is
that the said Sume of ffive Hundred Pounds shall remaine in the Hands of
my said Brother until such childe or children whereof I am now pregnant
shall attain the age of twenty one yeares And further my Will and desire
is That such Child or Children shall fro time to time be allowed such
sume and sumes of money for~~~~ education and maintenance out of my
personall Estate And out of the product of the said sume of ffive
Hundred Pounds as the said Richard Saunders my Brother and Mr Arthur
Judge my Brother in Law shall in their discretion think requisite
Provided further and my Will is that in case such Childe or Children
whereof I am now pregnant shall happen to departe this Life before the
Age of One and twenty yeares Then my Will is that the said Sume of ffive
Hundred Pounds and all the Interest thereof undisposed of by my said
Trustees together with all my personall Estate not disposed of shall
revert to my said Mother Brother and Sisters in such manner as I have
hereinbefore bequeathed the same And I doe hereby nominate and appoint
the said Richard Saunders Elizabeth Saunders my Mother and Elizabeth
Saunders my Sister joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament
And lastly I doe hereby revoke all former Wills by me heretofore made
and doe Declare this only to be my last Will and Testament In Witness
whereof I have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and seale
this nineth Day of July Anno Domini One Thousand Seven Hundred and ffive
which Will is contained in Two Sheets of Paper Mary Judge Signed sealed
published and declared in the presence of us who have hereunto
subscribed our names as Witnesses in the presence of the Testator Sarah
