The Will of John Judge

 

In the Name of God Amen I John Judge Carpenter and Builder of Camberwell in the County of Surry being of sound mind and understanding but considering the uncertainty of human life do hereby declare this my last Will and Testament Viz I give devise and bequeath unto my Wife Dorothy Judge all them four Leasehold Tenements situated in Waterloo Street in the Parish of Saint Giles Camberwell in the County of Surry as well as my household ffurniture Linen Plate Stock in Trade Tools Utensils as well as all money or monies that may be indebted to me or arise by Will for her sole use after my ffuneral expences and just debts are paid and at the decease of the said Dorothy Judge after her ffuneral expences and just debts are paid if any effect remains then such remaining property of whatever description shall be sold or shared and the Residue equally divided between Isaac Judge Bricklayer of Boughton in the County of Kent Solomon Judge ffarmer at Smarden in the County aforesaid Eliza Hiller of Peckham and Phoebe the Wife of Thomas Chandler now residing at Newington both in the County of Surry the indulgence granted to the said Dorothy Judge shall be null and void in case of her marrying and I do hereby nominate and appoint William Young Innkeeper and my Wife Dorothy Judge both of Camberwell in the County of Surry Executors of this my last Will and Testament and in consideration of loss they will sustain in the execution of my Will and Testament that it shall and may be lawful for them my said Executors out of the said Premises or Property respectively or any other thing in any wise relating thereunto relating thereunto to reimburse themselves all loss cost charges and expences as they shall sustain or be put to in the execution of my last Will and Testament or the management or execution thereof respectively or in any other thing in any otherwise relating thereunto In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this ffourteenth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty one
