The Will of Jane Judge

 

This is the Last Will and Testament of me Jane Judge of Olney in the County of Buckingham Single Woman which I make and ordain in manner and form following (that is to say) ffirst I will and direct that all my just debts funeral expences and Charges of Proving this my Will be Paid by my Exor hereinafter named within Six Calendar months next after my decease next I will and direct that my Exor convey my body to Brington in the County of Northampton the Place of my nativity and there cause it to be interred in a decent manner as soon after my decease as conveniently may be Item I give and bequeath unto my Brother William Judge now living with Earl Spencer half a dozen Silver Spoons my Silver tea tongs a Pair of Silver Salt Spoons a Pair of Silver Glasses and my gold ring and brooch Also I give and bequeath unto my Sister Hannah Dunkley the Wife of Thomas Dunkley of Brington aforesaid Yeoman the whole of my linen wearing apparell and books All and singular the rest residue and remainder of my monies Securities for money goods chattels and Personal Estate I give and bequeath unto my said Brother William Judge his Exors and Admors upon the trusts and for the purposes following that is to say upon trust that he or they shall and do as soon after my decease as conveniently may be collect get in and convert into money the whole of the residue of my Personal Estate and after discharging my just Debts and other legal Payments invest the amount of such residue either in Parliamentary funds or Government or real Securities Then upon further trust that he my said Brother William Judge his Exors and Admors Shall and do Pay or cause to be paid unto the said Thomas Dunkley or his assigns the whole yearly interest dividends and Proceeds arising for and during the natural life of him the said Thomas Dunkley and from and immediately after the decease of him the said Thomas Dunkley then upon further trust that he my said Brother William Judge his Exors and Admors Shall and do in like manner Pay or cause to be paid unto the said Hannah Dunkley the Wife of the said Thomas Dunkley or her assigns the whole yearly interest dividends and Proceeds arising from such rest Residue for and during the natural life of her the said Hannah Dunkley And from and immediately after the decease of them the said Thomas Dunkley and the said Hannah Dunkley and of the Survivor of them then I do hereby give and bequeath unto my said Brother William Judge the whole of Such residue and all interest which may be then due thereon to hold the same unto him his Exors Admors and Assign for ever And lastly I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Brother William Judge Sole Exor of this my Last Will and Testament And hereby revoking all former and other wills by me at any time heretofore made I do declare this only to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Jane Judge the testatrix have hereunto set my hand and Seal this Sixteenth day of November in the Year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and nineteen
