This is the last Will and Testament of me
Sarah Jordan of Dumple Dale in the County of Pembroke Widow and
Relict of Reverend John Jordan late of the same place Clerk
deceased I give and bequeath unto my Nephew The Reverend John
Williams my Silver Jud and I give and bequeath unto him the Sum
of ffifty Pounds and to my Niece Anna Jane Griffiths Widow the
sum of one hundred Pounds I give and bequeath unto the son of my
late Nephew Penry Williams Esquire by the Sum of fifty pounds
when he attains the age of twenty one years with power to my
Executrixes hereinafter named either to accumulate the interest
thereof for his benefit or pay the ..... from time to time until
the Principal shall become payable as they shall see fit I give
and bequeath unto Mrs Williams Widow of my late Nephew Phillip
Williams of ...... Esquire deceased the Sum of ffifty Pounds and
to Phillip Williams and ..... Sons of my said late Nephew
Phillip Williams deceased the Sum of fifty pounds a Piece I give
and bequeath unto Mrs ffrances Sculthorpe Widow who is a
daughter of my late Nephew Phillip Williams deceased the Sum of
fifty pounds and to Jemima Welshman another daughter of my late
Nephew Phillip Williams deceased the Sum of fifty pounds and I
direct the last mentioned Sum of fifty pounds .... to Jemima
Welshman for her own separate use and that the same shall not be
liable to the debts or engagements of her present or any future
husband and that her receipt alone shall be a sufficient
discharge to my Executrixes for the same and as to the Rest and
Residue of my Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and of what
nature or kind soever I give and bequeath the same unto my two
nieces Ann Williams and Sarah Williams of Aberamlais in the
County of Brecon Spinsters absolutely and I appoint the joint
Executrixes and Residuary Legatees of this my Will and I do
hereby revoke all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made
& declare this present writing to be my last Will and Testament
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this
twenty eighth day of March one thousand eight hundred and thirty

This is a Codicil to be annexed and taken
as part of my last Will and Testament of me Sarah Jordan of
Dumple Dale in the County of Pembroke widow which said will
bears date on or about the 28th day of March last whereas I am
possessed of the sum of one thousand eight hundred and sixty
four pounds three shillings and eleven pence Stock or
thereabouts in the new three and a half per cents Now I do
hereby direct the Executrixes in my said Will named do and shall
as soon as conveniently may be after my decease sell and convert
the same Stock into money and do and shall out of the produce of
such Stock pay the following legacies that is to say unto the
Revd John Williams in my Will named the Sum of two hundred and
fifty Pounds Sterling unto Anna Jane Griffiths also in my said
Will named the sum of two hundred Pounds of like money unto
Penry Williams also in my said Will named the Sum of one hundred
and fifty pounds of like money to be paid to him at the same
time and subject to the same provisions and restrictions as are
contained in my said Will respecting the legacy thereby given to
him and unto Mrs Williams Phillip Williams John Williams
ffrances Sculthorpe and Jemima Welshman in my said Will also
respectively named the Sum of ffifty pounds a piece And I direst
that the said Legacies may be paid to the said Legatees
respectively in addition to the several legacies given them by
my said will and that the legacy hereby given to Jemima Welshman
shall be paid to her for her separate use in like manner as the
legacy given her in my said Will to be paid her and I do hereby
ratify and confirm my said Will except where the same is hereby
altered In Witness whereof I the said Sarah Jordan have to this
Codicil set my hand and Seal this ninth day of April in the Year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty three _Sarah
