of Denbigh Stonemason
deceased who died on the
eleventh day of November
1868 at Penydomen
aforesaid were granted
at the District Registry
attached to Her
Majesty's Court of
Probate at St Asaph to
Mary Jones of Penydomen
aforesaid Widow Relict
of the deceased the
Residuary Legatee named
in the said Will she
having been first sworn
to to administer
There being no Executor
named in the said Will

This is the last Will
and Testament of me John
Jones of Pen-y-domen in
the parish of
Llanrhaiadr yn Mochnant
in the County of Dengigh
Stone mason. I give and
bequeath to my Son Ellis
of Cefnllaniwrch in the
parish of Llanrhaiadr yn
mochnant Blacksmith the
Eight day Clock after my
decease I also give unto
my Son Ellis of
Cefnllaniwrch as
aforesaid one Bedstead
after my death I give
unto my Son Edward of
Tydraw in the parish of
LLanrhaiadr yn mochnant
Stonemason after my
decease one Screen now
in my use at Penydomen -
I give unto my Son David
of Efelrhyd in the
parish of Llanrhaiadr yn
mochnant in the County
of Denbigh Blacksmith
the sum of one pound
sterling money after my
decease. Unto to Sarah
my daughter I give and
bequeath a Dresser and
Shelf after my decease.
I give also unto my
daughter Harriet of
Llansilin in the parish
in the County of Denbigh
the sum of Two pounds
sterling money after my
decease. I also give
and bequeath unto my
daughter Jane of Wernole
in the parish of
Llansilin in the county
of Denbigh one oak
Clothes Chest after my
decease I give unto my
Step daughter Margaret
Chidlow wife of John
Chidlow of Brook Street
Oswestry in the County
of Salop one "Corner
Cupboard" after my
decease I give unto Mary
wife of Thomas Jones of
the Green in the parish
of Llanrhaiadr yn
Mochnant in the County
of Denbigh Labourer the
Shelf now in my use at
Pen-y-domen after my
decease I give to my
daughter Rose wife of
John Thomas of Cenedde
near Oswesty in the
parish of Oswestry the
sum of Five shillings
after my death. I give
unto Margaret Hughes of
Brook Street Oswestry
Widow the sum of Five
shillings after my
decease. I give and
bequeath unto my wife
Mary the whole
of
the remainder of my
stock and furniture and
every thing that I may
be possessed of at my
decease except what I
have given and
bequeathed heretofor and
for her sole use and
benefit I declare this
to be my last Will and
Testament and given
under my hand and seal
this twentieth day of
February in the year of
