being At Present in good
health of Body and of
sound and disposing Mind
and Memory for which I
bless God Do make and
ordain this my last Will
and Testament in manner
following (that is to
say)Imprimis I will that
such Debts as I shall
Justly owe at the time
of my decease and my
ffuneral Charges and
Expences be in the first
place paid ny my
Executor hereinafter
named and as to my
Estate both Real and
Personal I dispose
thereof in manner
following (that is to
say)ffirst I give and
devise and those
Messuages Tenements and
Lands with the
Appurtenances called and
known by the name of Cor....
situate lying and being
in the Parish of
Whitechurch in the said
County of Pembroke unto
John Davies late of
Cwmhole bur now of
Broomhill in the said
County of Pembroke
Gentleman and to his
Heirs for ever he and
they paying the several
Sums of Money following
to the several Persons
hereinafter mentioned
within twelve Months
next after my decease
(that is to say) To
Martha the Wife of
Robert Bateman Priest of
the Town and County of
Haverfordwest Esquire
the Sum of ffifty pounds
to Anne Jones Wife of
Edward Jones of the
Parish of Hubberstone in
the said County of
Pembroke the like Sum of
ffifty Pounds and to Ann
Thomas of Landshipp Quay
in the said County of
Pembroke Widow the Sum
of twenty pounds making
in all the Sum of One
hundred & twenty pounds
And I do hereby Charge
the same Premises only
with the Payment thereof
my Will and meaning is
that my Executor
hereinafter named nor my
Personal Estate or any
part thereof shall not
in any wise be
answerable or liable to
the Payment of the
aforesaid several Sums
of Money or any or
either of them or any
part thereof I give and
bequeath unto Abra
Ormond of the said Town
and County of Haverford
West Widow the Sum of
one hundred Pounds to be
paid to her by my
Executor within twelve
Months next after my
decease I give and
bequeath unto Lettice
Bennett Wife of ffrancis
Bennett of the said
Parish of Stainton in
the said County of
Pembroke Mariner the Sum
of ffive pounds to be
paid to her by my
Executor within Six
Months after my decease
I give and bequeath unto
the Servant Girl that
shall be living with me
at the time of my
decease one year’s wages
over and above what
shall be due to me at
that time and a Suit of
Common Mourning I give
and bequeath all my
Plate and Household
ffurniture unto the said
Abra Ormond and Anne
Jones to be equally
divided between them by
my said Executor share
and share alike And as
to all the Rest Residue
and Remainder of my
Goods Chattels ready
Money Debts and
Securities for Money
Personal Estate and
Effects whatsoever and
wheresoever and of what
nature kind or quality
soever the same may be
(after Payment of my
Just Debts and ffuneral
Expences aforesaid ) I
give devise and bequeath
the same and every part
thereof unto the said
Robert Bateman Priest
his Heirs Executors and
Administrators and
Assigns to and for his
and their own use and
benefit absolutely And
Lastly I do constitute
and appoint the said
Robert Bateman Priest
soel Executor hereof And
at the same time
revoking All former and
other Wills by me at any
time heretofore made and
declare this only to be
my last Will and
Testament In Testimony
whereof I have hereunto
