In
the name of God Amen I
Edward Jenden of
Wisborough Green in the
County of Sussex do
hereby make my last Will
and testament in manner
& form following that is
to say I commend my Soul
to Almighty God hoping
to be saved by the death
of Jesus Christ & I
order my Body to be
decently buried by my
Executrix & Exor ffirst
I give & devise &
bequeath unto my
daughter Sarah Gallup
Wife of Robert Gallup to
she all the rents &
profits arising or may
arrive and due (that my
daughter Sarah Gallup
that she shall have
power to receive unto
her proper hands for &
during the term of her
natural life only that
is from my ?real Estate
All my Messuage lands
tenements credits
whatsoever wheresoever
with their appurts for
her own separate use
benefit & disposal as if
she was unmarried to
receive all thereunto
profits arising from my
small real Estates to
support herself during
her natural life (then
after the decease of my
daughter Sarah Gallup
not before)if my son in
law Robert Gallup should
happen to survive his
Wife my Daughter Sarah
Gallup then I give to
Robert Gallup the same
power to receive all the
rents & profits arising
from my real Estate as
the same to receive by
him the term of his
natural life only (then
my will & meaning is & I
direct that when the
said Sarah Gallup &
Robert Gallup shall
respectively become
entitled to the rents &
profits of my said small
Estate that they do
respectively to keep in
repair all & every the
buildings belonging to
my said small Estate
herein before devised in
my Will further that
after my Daughter Sarah
Gallup & Robert Gallup
decease I give & devise
unto my Grandson Edward
Jenden Gallup All my
Messuages lands
tenements heredits &
real Estate whatsoever &
wheresoever to him & his
heirs & his assigns for
ever but my will &
meaning further is that
in case my Grandson
Edward Jenden Gallup
should happen to die &
depart this life & leave
no Issue lawfully
begotten at his decease
& for default of such
Issue I give & devise to
my other Grandchildren

Robert Gallup William
Gallup Henry Gallup
Daughter & Sons of the
said Sarah Gallup by my
Daughter by the said
Robert Gallup All my
small Messuages lands

common nit as joint
tenants to be equally
divided amongst them
share & share alike And
as for all my personal
Estate Goods Chattels
ready money & all my
personal Estate
whatsoever & wheresoever
I hereby appoint my
Executor & Executrix In
trust Guardians &
overseers to the case of
my grandchildren I give
devise & bequeath all
the same to my said
Grandchildren Edward
Jenden Gallup Sarah
Gallup John Gallup
William Gallup Robert
Gallup & Henry Gallup to
be equally divided share
and share alike to be
paid respectively at
their age of twenty one
years by my Son and
Executrix & Executor In
trust with all the
profits and Interest
that the trust can make
of from the money of the
personals to be paid
them respectively when
they shall attain the
age of twenty one years
my Will & meaning
further is after my
decease to desire my
Executrix & Exor to sell
all & every part of &
parcel of my household
Goods & Stock in trade
to get my money in to
sell every Article of my
personals to sell & make
all & to turn all my
personals into money all
for the purpose &
benefit of my said
Grandchildren & for
their uses & to see all
my just Debts satisfied
& paid & ffuneral
Expences And I do hereby
make ordain & appoint my
said daughter Sarah
Gallup Executrix &
Robert Gallup my Son in
law Exor & trustee to
this my last Will &
testament hereby
revoking all former
Wills by me made In
Witness whereof I the
