This is the last Will
and Testament of me
Sarah Jeffkins of Leyton
in the County of Essex
Widow being of sound
mind memory and
understanding thanks be
to God for the same
first I will and desire
that all my funeral and
testamentary expences
and all other my just
debts be fully paid and
satisfied and for the
purpose this Will into
effect I hereby nominate
and appoint Mr George
Adams Clerk of Writtle
in the County of Essex
Gentleman and Mr Joseph
Knight of Wanstead in
the County of Essex
Gentleman Executors of
this my will and as a
remuneration for their
trouble I give to each
of them the sum of sixty
guineas And my Will
further is that the
lease of my house and
paddock with all my
furniture of every
description be sold and
all the produce thereof
with all the cash and
funded property I may
die possessed of be
applied in the following
manner namely I give to
Mr George Owens Clark of
Writtle aforesaid the
sum of four hundred
pounds I also give to
his Sister Jane Aldy of
the same place the like
sum of four hundred
pounds also to Mrs
Hannah Outen of High
Wycombe in the County of
Bucks four hundred
pounds and to her Sister
Mrs Charlotte Wood of
the same place four
hundred pounds also to
Mr Henry Wright of the
same place two hundred
pounds and to Mrs Ann
Walton of Charwilton in
the County of
Northampton one hundred
pounds to be vested in
the funds and for her to
receive the interest
only during her life and
at her death to be
equally divided between
her son Thomas Griffin
and her daughter Ann
Griffin I also give to
Mr Joseph Knight of
Wanstead in the County
of Essex one hundred
pounds I also give to
Miss Mary Bucknell now
living with me fifty
pounds also to each of
my each of my servants
namely Ephraim Pryor and
his wife Esther Pryor
the sum of nineteen
guineas and to their son
Philip Pryor the sum of
ten pounds I also give
to Mr John Aldey of
Writtle aforesaid two
hundred pounds I also
give to his sister Jane
and Mary Ann Aldey one
hundred pounds and I
give to the children of
Mr John Adams Clark
three hundred pounds to
be equally divided
amongst them I also give
to the children of Mr
Henry Wright of the same
place one hundred pounds
to be equally divided
amongst them and I
further will and direct
that whatever residue
shall remain after
discharging the within
named legacy that it be
divided equally share
and share alike namely
Mr John Adams Clark of
Writtle and Mrs Jane
Aldey of the same place
Mrs Hannah Outen of High
Wycombe aforesaid and
Mrs Charlotte Wood of
the same place and I
hereby revoke and make
void all other wills by
me at any time made
heretofore and I declare
this only to be my last
