In the Name of
God Amen I Ann Jago of Mevagissey in
the County of Cornwall Spinster
being sound in mind meory and
understanding do make this my last
Will and Testament in manner
following ffirst I give unto my
Brother Stephen Rice Jago the Sum of
twenty pounds also unto Miss Ann &
Jane Ball the Sum of five pounds
each if she survive me all the Rest
Residue and Remainder of my Estate
and Effects of whatsoever nature or
kind I give unto my Sisters Hester
and ffaith Jago for their use and
benefit as long as they shall live
and after their decease in manner
following ffirst I give unto my
Nephew Thomas Jago his Executors
admors or assigns my one third part
of the Dwellinghouse in which I now
live I give the Sum of Two hundred
and thirty three pounds to be
divided equally amongst the Children
of my Sister Elizabeth Pearce their
Executors admors or assigns also the
Sum of Two hundred and thirty three
pounds to be divided equally amongst
the following Children of Catherine
Blake my Sister their Executors
admors or assigns that is to say
Hannah Roberts William Thomas Sarah
and James Blake I also give my one
third share of my late Uncle Rice’s
Plate a list of which is on the back
of this Will unto my Nephews William
and Thomas Jago or their heirs but
not to be disposed of all the
remainder of the Plate in the house
I give unto the Children of my
Sister Catherine Blake and Elizabeth
Pearce all the Rest Residue and
Remainder of my Estate and Effects
of whatsoever kind or nature I give
unto my Nephews William Thomas Step.

my hand and seal this 10th day of
March in the year of our Lord 1826
