The Will of James Jackson

 

This is the Last Will and Testament of me JAMES JACKSON of Barnard Castle in the County of Durham Innkeeper made the 10 July 1782. I give and devise and bequeath unto my dear wife ELIZABETH JACKSON all and whatsoever I die possessed or seized of whether real or personal estate and effects .... to hold the same to her, her heirs, executors, administrators and assigns for ever subject to and charged and chargeable with the payment of the sum of £200 to my daughter JANE JACKSON at her age of 21 years but in case my said daughter shall die before she attain the age of 21 years then I bequeath the same to my wife whom I hereby appoint executrix in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal Witnesses William Ewbank, Edward Robinson, Andrew Ewbank.
