The Will of Flower Hunt

 

In the Name of God Amen I Flower Hunt of Chelsea Hospital in the County of Middlesex Cook being sick and weak in body but of perfect Sound mind and memory praise be Almighty God for it do make and ordaine this to be my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made and first I recommend my Soul unto Allmighty God my Creator hopeing through the merits of my blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to have full remission of my Sins and that after my Decease I desire that I may be buryed according to the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named and after my Funerall expences and Just Debts have been paid I give and bequeath unto my beloved Brother Ten Pounds and to my beloved Sister Ann Birt ten pounds and to my beloved Sister Elizabeth Drinker ten pounds and the Remainder of my Estate of what kind soever I give and bequeath unto my dearly beloved Wife Dorothy Hunt whom I appoint sole Executrix and do hereby declare this to be my last will and Testament as Witness my hand and seal this 25th day of July 1727 Flower Hunt his mark
