This is the last Will of Thomas Humby Senior of Bower Chalke in the County of Wilts I give to my son Thomas all the Interest I have in that Cottage he now resides in and half the garden belonging to it. And the Cottage adjoining I give to my son William and the other half of the garden and the Carpenters shop situate in the garden I give Equaly between them together with the well of water and they shall pay an equal share toward keeping the well in repair and the shop, all my other property I give to my dear Wife as long as she lives but after her death the sum of two Hundred pounds sterling her own property shall be equaly divided between my two sons and my daughter Elisabeth Farmer Isaac Hapgoods Wife all my other property shall be Equaly divided between my four children Hetty, Elisabeth Thomas and William within one year after my Wifes death and I publish this to be my will and do appoint my two sons to be Executors to this my last Will and Testament and I do declare it to be my Will whereto I set my mark and seal this twenty fifth day of February in the year of our Lord one Thousand eight hundred and forty
