The Will of
George Humble
Extracted from the Registry of the Exchequer
Court of York
I George Humble of Middleton in the County of York Esq do make my last
Will & Testament as follows first I give & bequeath unto my nephew
Joseph Humble the son of my late brother Joseph Humble the sum of two
thousand pounds and to each of my three nieces the daughters of my said
late brother Joseph viz Catherine Harriet & Ellen the sum of one
thousand pounds apiece all which legacies shall be payable at the end of
one Year after my death & be paid to them respectively at the age of 21
years & be placed out in the mean time on good security and the interest
if necessary applied for the maintenance or to be suffered to accumulate
if my Trustees shall think best and subject thereto and to the Payment
of my Debts funeral Expences and the charges of proving & registering
this my will I give devise appoint & bequeath all and every my real
Estates & Effects whatsoever & wheresoever & of what nature or kind
soever ad whether in possession reversion remainder or expectancy unto &
equally among my three sisters Ann Sarah & Grace as Tenants in common &
not as joint tenants their several & respective heirs & assign for ever
with their reminders between them in fee and I give & devise all estates
now vested in me as Mortgagee in fee or for any term or number of years
unto my Exors hereinafter named their heirs Exors or admors upon trust
for better reserving the monies due thereon with full power to give
receipts for the same and reconvey transfer assign surrender or release
such mortgages & I appoint my ffriends Thomas Buckle & George Banks both
of Leeds in the said County Merchants Joint Exors & Trustees of this my
Will with full indemnification for all their acts thereunder In witness
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the eleventh day of June

On the 13th May 1847 Admon (with the will annexed) of the goods Chattels
and Credits of George Humble late of Middleton in the County of York
Esquire deceased left unadministered by Thomas Buckle and George Banks
deceased whilst living the Executors named in the said Will was granted
to Grace Humble Spinster the sister and surviving Residuary Legatee
named in the said Will having been foirst sworn by Comon duly to
administer. The said Thomas Buckler survived hi Co-Executor and died
Intestate
