In the Name of God Amen I Erasmus Hughes
of Aberllolwyn in the County of Cardigan Gentleman being of
sound mind memory and understanding praised by God for the same
do make ordain publish and declare this my last Will and
Testament in manner and form following that is to say I leave
and bequeath unto my Goddaughter and Niece Mary Ann Hughes of
Morfa in the County of Cardigan Spinster the Sum of Ten Pounds I
also leave and bequeath to my Nieces Elizabeth Hughes and
Eleanor Hughes and Jane Hughes of Morfa aforesaid Spinsters the
sum of ffour Guineas each to buy Mourning I also leave and
bequeath unto my Nephew The Reverend Henry Rogers the Sum of
four Guineas I also leave and bequeath to my Sister Elizabeth
Hughes of Morfa the Sum of Ten Pounds to be laid out by her in
defraying my ffuneral Expences and I leave and bequeath unto
James Pugh and Mary Pugh at Aberllolwyn provided they shall
remain and continue in such their service until my decease the
Sum of one Guinea each the said several Legacies to be paid
within six months next after my decease with Interest And as to
all the rest and residue of my Personal Estate subject to the
Payment of my just Debts Legacies hereinbefore by me bequeathed
and the Expences of proving this my Will I leave and bequeath
the same to my Servant John Edwards in case he shall be in my
Service at the time of my decease And lastly I do hereby
nominate constitute and appoint my said Sister Elizabeth Hughes
Executrix in Trust of this my Will hereby revoking all and all
manner of wills by me at any time heretofore made In witness
whereof I have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand
and Seal the twenty second day of October one thousand Eight

Administratrix of the Goods of John Edwards deceased Elizabeth
Hughes Spinster having died without taking on execution of the
Will
